SOURIS, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
The Lighthouse Baptist Church at Souris celebrated the chartering of the church on July 27th
We thank the Lord for the six charter members who are committed and faithfully serving in the church.
The Church is growing under the ministry of Pastor Bart Gragtmans. Pray with us for continued growth in this ministry.
BROWNSVILLE, TX
The Lighthouse Baptist Church graduated on April 27. Missionaries Richard and Millie Dodson have concluded their ministry and the church has installed Pastor Mack Guerra, Jr. (pictured on the right).
ICE FISHING – Church activity in Kenora, Ontario
We had a great time with our missionaries and the church family. There were about 20” of ice left on the lake on April 19th. We didn’t catch anything but we had a great time of fellowship. At the end of the day, at least Dan still had his minnow.
BRONX (NEW YORK CITY), NY
We spent a few days with missionaries Marty & Val Silverberg in South Bronx working on ministry plans for the coming years. The building is coming along nicely. Please pray for its completion this year, for additional funds that will be needed to outfit it for ministry, for the Silverbergs’ ongoing work, and for Sam & Jen Lake as they are trusting God for the support needed to join them soon.
BOSTON, MA
We had the chance to meet with the international core group that is the beginning of our second church plant in “Boston* with missionaries Bill & Deb Edmondson.
GRAND RAPIDS, MI
The Iglesia Bautista Internacional of Grand Rapids was organized on Jan 20th, with about 40 charter members. Missionaries Paul & Barb Joles (upper left) began this Hispanic work in 2002 with the help of the Calvary Baptist Church. One of the deacons, Ricardo Tavarez, was recently installed as Pastor.
